What is Sulfamate Nickel Plating?
Sulfamate nickel is a great choice for substrates that need both corrosion resistance and restoration to its original specifications. This material is a pure, dense, and is extremely consistent metal. This type of plating is often used for build-up for the surfaces of worn parts. This metal offers high-temperature resistance and excellent ductility. Sulfamate Nickel Plating is the best option for the restoration of used parts, and buildup of undersized parts. This plating process requires an electrolytic process. This process was first developed in 1938 by Piontellil and Cambri. From then, it wasn’t until the mid-1950s until sulfamate nickel plating became commercially used as an alternative to traditional Watts electric nickel plating. Sulfamate Nickel gives a semi-bright to a matte appearance with a yellow or golden cast. We are able to barrel, rack, wire, and vibratory any of your sulfamate nickel substrate parts.
